The National Program Office, in collaboration with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, hosted the first annual alumni event March 27-28, 2009 in Arlington, Va. The sessions covered topics such as: Health Care Disparities and Policy; Financial Planning; and Career Development (interview skills, resume writing skills, etc.).

This important meeting was geared towards fostering engagement of alumni from the Minority Medical Education Program (MMEP), the Summer Medical Education Program (SMEP) and the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP).
